What will happen in my hypnotherapy sessions?

In your first session, we’ll delve deeper, gathering more insight and working together to create a bespoke hypnosis plan for future sessions. Every step is designed with you in mind, ensuring your therapy is as effective, personal and empowering as possible.
What happens when I am hypnotised?
The experience of hypnosis is unique to each person, often described as a focused and relaxed state, similar to daydreaming. Hypnotherapy is a powerful tool for change that works by accessing your subconscious mind—the part of you that stores automatic beliefs, habits, and behaviours.
While relaxation can be part of the process, hypnotherapy goes deeper. It helps uncover and reshape deep-rooted patterns that may be holding you back, creating positive shifts, enabling meaningful, lasting transformation, and helping you move forward with greater ease.
How many hypnotherapy sessions will I need?
The number of hypnotherapy sessions you may need can vary depending on your individual goals, circumstances, and the changes you’re looking to achieve. Some people find that one or two sessions are enough to address a specific issue, such as smoking cessation, while others may benefit from a series of sessions to work through deeper or more complex challenges.
What will happen in my Life Coaching sessions?
Life Coaching is about helping you bridge the gap between where you are right now and where you truly want to be. Whether that’s your wellbeing, career, health, relationships or maybe finding a better work-life balance.
Using a bespoke blend of therapies, I’ll ask you questions to help you get clear on what you want to achieve. We will explore your current situation and look at all the possibilities open to you, my role is to help you uncover and use your own inner resources to empower you to make the changes you want in your life.

How do sessions work Online?
To be quite honest there is little difference between face to face and online sessions. If anything, for some things like anxiety I believe virtual sessions work marginally better because it takes away any stresses from travel that might heighten anxiety.
I will send you a Zoom invitation before our meeting that will include a link and password and would suggest that you find a private and comfortable space for our sessions where you won’t be interrupted.
Online sessions may not be suitable if you lack reliable internet or phone access, are experiencing serious mental health issues, are in an acute crisis or emergency situation, or have thoughts of harming yourself or others. In these circumstances, I recommend finding a therapist in your local area who can offer face-to-face support.
